The Budos Band return again with another collection of new material that fuses the Ethio-funk stylings of Mulatu Astatke and psychedelic rock – it’s called Long In The Tooth and is out via label home, Daptone.

The Budos Band formed in 2005 in New York City, rebounding outta a jam session, with the legendary afrobeat band, Antibalas. Budos’ music takes cues from their scintilating forefathers of brass and African percussive roots, while also taking new directions in other styles – from Italian soundtrack composers to Link Wray.
