Bananagun will drop their debut album The True Story of Bananagun on June 26th and the lead single is People Talk Too Much – a Fela Kuti inspired jam that showcases their psychedelic and globally influenced sound. It features percussive touches of West African highlife and Brazilian Tropicalia.

Hailing from Melbourne, The True Story of Bananagun records the complete five piece band for the first time, having evolved from the ideas and demos of guitarist, vocalist and flautist Nick van Bakel. The multi-instrumentalist grew up on skate videos and absorbing the hip-hop beats that soundtracked them.
